SHIPPING NOTES.
The Union Company* steamer Corinna, hound to Dnnrrlm, passed Lytteiton Heads, fifteen miles off. at 8.15 a.m. yesterday. The scow Whungaroa, now due at Sydney, with a cargo of timber from Wanganui, has bi*(-n chartered to load hardwood at Port Macquarie for Lytteiton. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's steamer Mamnri was expected to leave Xnpinr at midnight last nijjht for Lytteiton, where she is due early to-morrow morning. The vessel will complete loading Here, and will sail on Mondny for London, via 3lpnte Video and Tcneriffe" The Shaw. Savill and Albion Company's stcamor Athcnic and the New Zealand Shippint; Company's steamer Tongariro, from London, via wny ports and Wellington, are both expected to arrive at Lytteiton on Sunday morning. The Maoriland S.S. Company's steamer Holmdtile left Picton yesterday morning with a load of sheep for Lytteiton, where she is duo to-day. After landing the sheep, the Hoimdale will take in a rargo of produce for fireymouth, where ehe will load timber back to this port. The Indravelli is to sail to-morrow for Wellington to discharge the balance of her cargo. The- vessel is to take about 1600 tons of WcFtport coal as "bunkers" before ehe reThf Shaw, Snvil'l and Albion Company's Mt'DDPr Tainui, "homeward bound" from New Zealand ports, left Rio dc Janeiro last Sunday. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu left Plymouth Inst Saturday eutwnrd bound for New Zealand ports, via Capetown and Hobart. The vessel is due at Wellington about April Sth. The Alexander loft Nelson on Wednesday night for West Waneanui and the Sounds, to load shoo;, for Lyttolton. The vessel is duo h*ro to-day. A strainer, supposed to be tnc Putilti. with n K-ul of sheep irom Admiralty Bay, anUiortti in the- atreain about midnight last uight.
