Messrs I>algety and Company haro received the following cable from their London office, dated February 11th, 1909:— 'The demand for all descriptions of frozen meat is limited; tho market is weaker, and a further decline in prices likely. We quote present valuo Cs'ew Zealand prime- crossbred lamb, Canterbury and .North Island, heavy 3!<l, light sd. New season's prime Canterbury lamb 5Jd, but the demand is limited and the market weak. New Zealand prime, crossbred muton: Canterbury heaw 32d, light 3Jd; North" Island heavy 3id, light 3gd. New Zealand prime ox beef, fores 2|d, binds 3id. Poor demand for Australia" lamb. We quote Australian good averago crossbred heavy 3jd, light 4jd. Australian prime c:*.sbred mutton, heavy 2Jd, light 2Jd."
