FIRES.
(PSKBS AaBOOTATIOM TKUSG&UO AUCKLAND, February 12. A seven-roomed house occupied by Mr Reilly, near Penrose, was totally destroyed by fire early this morning. Mr Reilly and bis vife were asleep at 3 o'clock when tbey smelt smoke' end found that the place was on fire. They immediately secured their child, which' was in an adjoining room, and escaped in scant attire, the house and furniture beinc burned before their eyes.
