THE COLOSSEUM.

The Colosseum -was again crowded last night, when a new* programme of motion pictures was presented by tho Wide TiVorld Picture Company.- The selection of films was as usual excellent, and tho "presentation of the pictures on the sheet was well up to the high standard set by tho Company. One very fine set of pictures represented irhalo hunting in the South Seas. It depicted the different of the trade, from the sighting of the whale to tho trying out of the bl-ib-ber. Another interesting set of films represented different phases of 1u« on "board the training ship "lia Bretagne " The comic pictures were a strong feituro of tho programmo, and amonj. , , the most laughable were- "An- Electric Hotel," at wiiich the disorder of a switchboard controlling the .diffi-ien; electric services loads to general confusion; "A Bad Pinch of Snuff," wh ; ji depicts the sympathetic contagion of sneezing; "How Jones Got his Suit.*' and "The Fiddlers." Several very good dramatic studies _ were ehown, the principal being entitled 'An Auto Heroine," in which were contained several views of a thrilling motor oar race. The programme will ba lepeated to-night, and on Saturday there will be two performances, one m the afternoon and the other in. tho evening.
