ADDINGTON WORKSHOPS ENQUIRY.

(special to "the press.")

WELLINGTON, January 26

The Minister for Railways (the Hon. J. A. Millar), when questioned to-night by 'The Press" correspondent, said that the enquiry into the methods of work at Addington Workshops would ho open to the Press and also to tho public if they wished to attend. It- would not lie conducted by a Stipendiary Magistrate, but would be simply a departmental enquiry held in public. He could not- give the exact date, but the enqmrv would bo opened very shortly. Asked whether its scope would extend beyond affairs at Addington, the Minister said that would depend upon what came out during tho investigations.
