Fairly good entries were received for the Ashburton produce sales on Saturday, and there was a moderate attendance of buyers. Tlie average pricta realised were as under:—Poultry : Hene, __ 2d to 3s 'per -pair; roosters, 2_ 3d to 3- *3d per pair; ohicikens, _s fid to 2s 4d per pair; ducks, 2s ld to 3.i 3d per pair. Pigs: Suckens, .2s, 14a, to 16s; porkers, _-_* to 355. .Potatoes: Jd to lid per lb. Ohiokwheat: 14s to 15- per sack. Peas: 6d to 8_« per peck. Peaches: 2_d to 3_d per lb.*' apricots, 3d to 4d per lb; plums, 2}d to 3d -per lb. Tomatoes, 6d per ;b. Carcase mutton: 2d to 2_d per l.b; lamb, 3d to 3_d per lb.
