Dalgety and Company yesrte-rday reoeived tho following cable, dated Junuary 22nd, from their .London of-fice:—'-The wool sales continue firm and active, with brisk competition. American buyers are buying moderately, but prices are frequently lower for wools suitable for America, as compared with last sales, in consequence of better select-on and ouyers operating with more discrimination."
