o___» ASBOOIATIOH -r___GH__*.» INVEROABGILI., January 24, ■'A veterinary surgeon-named David Barclay, a resident or East Invercargill, committed suicide at Oaklands (Pine Bush) on Saturday morning. He was on a tour in connection with his calling,.and put up for the night at Mr It. Mulco-'a place at Oaklands. He got Up in the morning and walked to the stable with Mr Mulco_, who left him for a time. Coming back afterwards he found Barclay dead on the door of the stable, -with his throat cut, and with a blood-stained rasor at his side. Barclay was- a married man, and! leaves three sons, the eldest being about eighteen yeari> of age.
