FACILITIES FOR SMALL INVESTORS.

In the House of Commons, the Chancellor of the Exchequer was asked' whether he would consider the advisability of giving small investors facilities for investing in remunerative Colonial securities, while making it plain that the Colonist, and not the Home, Government guaranteed such securities. Mr Hobhouse replied that such facilities ought to be provided by Colonial Governments. •
