AQUATICS.
« rA meeting of the committee of the Union Rowing Club was hold at the boatbouse last evening. Mr F. D. Kestevon presided, and there was a full attendance. Messrs Kcstcvon. Lee, and Fry were appointed delegates to the Christchurch Regatta Club. The secretary was instructed to register with tho Council of the N.Z.A.R.A. the colours of the U.R.C. in accordance with the new jnle recently passed. The Ladies' Committee, who recently carried out the ladies' dance, notified their intention of presenting the club with two mirrors for the social hall from the, profit from the dance. Sixteen new members were elected, making a total of 104 new members already elected this season, which the club claims to be an Australasian record.
