A CRICKET PROTEST. following resolution relating to tho Hagley Park rents was carried unanimously at the monthly meeting of the L'ity and Suburban Cricket Association, held on Thursday evening this Association strongly condemns the action of the Domain Board in raising the fees charged to cricket clubs and other sports for the use of the grounds, and in the opinion of tho Association the Boards action will have the effect of crushing the young clubs, who will have to raise their feeSi and so placo the various sports beyond the reach of rising players."
