Oats —No further transactions have been reported,' and the market is at a standstill. Local farmers in many cases aro having to buy for horsn-feeu and this constitutes the only business taking.place. Quotations are: —'Milling 2s, .good short feed and Duns Is lOd, lighter feed Is 9d. Oatsheaf Chaff—rThere has been slightly bettor demand for chaff for export, but the quantity on offer prevents any possible chance of increased prices. There is still more available for sale than orders can cope with, and prices remain £3 ss. on trucks for primo quality white oats. Dun oatsheaf is not in demand for export, and".. is therefore difficult to sell, buyers* offering only £3 2s 6d.
