Tbe following cable, dated August sth. has been received by Dalgety and Co. from tbeir London ofbee:---"The tallow market is firm, but there is not miK'h demand. Sales of beef, Premier Jus, bave taken rbiee at 48s 6d, c.i.f., and there are sellers of mutton Premier Jus at 42s Gd."
