The following team has been selected to represent the Anglo-Welsh team against Poverty Bay at ■ .Gisborne to-morrow:—Full-back, Dyke; three-quarters, Chapman, McEvedy, "Tuan" Jones, and Griffiths; halves, Laxon and Davey; rover, Jackett; forwards, Harding, E. Morgan, Down; Oldham, Hind, J. F. Williams and Archer. . With reference to Hoarding's denial of complaining of the bad arrangements of the tour, the English captain says that his remarks were only intended to apply to the visit to Gisborne, but hehad since learned that the arrangements made were the best possible. PRIMARY SCHOOLS. . , In the primary schools' junior competition, Elm wood, playing eleven men,. drew with Normal, there being no score. Mr J. Colthart was referee. ~ •Richmond' defeated ihe St.. Alban* - School at the North Park by 18 points ' to nil. The scorers were Harrison, who scored three trios and kiokod three goals ,and Sinoock, who scored * try.. Mr Allard was referee.
