THE POTATO MARKET.
(special to ''the press. ,7 ) DUNEDIN, June 24. The potato market is diiH, nothing over £4 2s Gd per ton being obtain»ab!e. Very little exporting from Dun"edin is done at present. It is considered titat there are sufficient quantities of potatoes in New Zealand to supply the demands, and it is not expected that many Australian shipments will be required. Unless tbo importing of Tasmantan potatoes is reduced, looai growers may look for lower prices as the season, advances.
