Crampton, ha-ring left the district, had resigned his offi*s" as chairman of the Boardj Mr George Forbes was appointed chairman for the remainder of the year. The chairman reported having purchased a number of ornamental trees for planting in the Botanical Reserve near tie township. The question of appointing a ranger to look after the different plantations and to do extra work, such as planting, felling, fencing, eto... was fully disoussed, and deferred until next meeting.
