Mr Balfmir and Mr Ausben Chamberlain mainteined thait pensioners oiiißlit to Im> a Mowed to go to places over-eea where thoir friends lived. Mr Lloyd-Georgo explained tiliat the Government desired punsioiiis t'a be payable 01* tlio sumo conditions as prevailed in lilio colonies, namely, whilo tho cJaimants resided in the colonies, but absonco for a biioi peirdod woukl not. l>o a cause of forfeiture. Tho ibiacmdaneiiit was rejected by a majority of 275.
