j ___ Avon B defeated Elgin A by 6 goals to 4. Tho scorers were:—For Avon: Oliver (2). Arnold, Harper, Clothier, and Southern: for Elgin: Havmes Farland, Whyte and Mills. Mr H. Hale was referee. Avon A had an easy win over Elgin B by 11 goals, scored by Earwaker (5), Henley (2), Pearce (2), Flavell and Wise, to nil. Mr H. Biewett was referee. Addington B created a great eur-' prise by playing 1 drawn game with their A team* neither sido scoring. Mr H. Luxton was referee. Sydenham defeated Chrisfchurch by 5 goals, scored by McCutcheon (3), Raich and Aitehceon, to 1. scored by Nicholls. Mr G. Whiro was referee Lyttelton High School Old Boys had' a bye.
