A very interesting game was played between Sydenham and Christchurch on the South Park. Tho teams were evenly matched throughout, Sydenham eventually winning by 4 points to 3. Sinclair potted a goal for the winners, and AVinnie scored a try for the losers. For Albion Talbot kicked v penalty goal, and Piercy scored for Linwood. Mr Harmau was referee. • Old Boys defeated Canterbury College on tho North Park by 12 points to nil. Guiney (2) anel Mason scored tries, Parsons converting one. Mr Soxton was referee. Tho game between Merivale and Lyttelton Pirates ended in a draw, neither sido scoring. Tho game was one of the finest seen on the Port grcund, both sides beirtg ovenly matched, and tho match was mostly a forward game.
