Arrangements were also made for the Union secretary to visit the Unions at the end of the year. His chief work will be that of organisation. .Altogether the plan of work for the year is most complete 'and extensive. A special meeting of the Canterbury Christian Endeavour Union was held on Thursday evening,'when final details for the annual convention were made. The convention promises to be one of the best yet held in Christchurch. The delegates will be entertained at a conversazione.on Tuesday,. June 9th, and the next day a moral reform meeting will be held at which no-license and gambling will -be discussed by prominent speakers.
