ALTERATION OF RULES.

At a general meeting ot delegate to tihe Canterbury Hockey AEsooiaitrion last resolutions wen* adopted eifecting a number of alterations to the rules. Rule 7 was struck out in Favour of :—"Each aflihated club shall be entitled to representation on th« Association by ouo delegate for each 33 members or part thereof, with a maximum of three delegates." Part of Rule 20 was struck out and the following inserted:—'"The annual suoscription to the Association shall be 10s Gd for each 33 members or part thereof on the club's roll at the end of the club's last financial year, the maximum subscription to be 31s 6d." In Rule 13 of tho Competition Rules, "12 noon" was substituted for "'I p.m." In Rule 2 of the Permit Rules the words "such list to be supplemented each Tuesday for Saturday players, and each Saturday for Thursday players as required," were deleted, and the following inserted: —"Such list to be supplemented each Monday by 5 p.m. for bollh. 'Ilhoireday and iSaturda-y players."

It was resolved that £23 19a, now standing to the credit of tho upkeep of grounds account, should be transferred to the general account. The delegates decided that objections to the alterations m the rules musjt be !<kl»-p.l v.i.th the secretary before dp-an. on Tuesday.
