WELLINGTON, May 1. Whenever one hearts Jitr Stead?s death mentioned—and it is very frequently mentioned —tho reference is accompanied by expressions of regret. It k admitted that through his decease .not only Canterbury, but the Dominion as c whole, has suffered a serious loss.
