Wreckage was met with 100 miles from the scene of the disaster. Some of the members of the crew of a search vessel drifted into a sea of wreckage, and had many narrow escapes. It is estimated that* the lose to the Broome fleet alone ie from fifteen to, twenty thousand pounds. A wire from Condon reports the wreck of the lugger Cleopatra. Three persons were drowned. Gasgih, one of t>be whites who was drowned was a New Zealander.
