A match iraa played between the ~ Waiau settlers and the Waiaa township, on the Waiau Domain, in the. presence of a fair number of spectators. After a fast and interesting game, the ■;:. township won by 3 pointe (a try scored by L. Coakley) to nil. Mr O. F. Buß was referee. ~»»>-.
