(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAMS.) WESTPORT, May 1. The tugs Terawhdti and Mana failed •to tow off the T&viuni on this morning's tide, the hawsers parting. WELLINGTON, May 1. The Magisterial enquiry into the stranding of the Taviuni will commence at Westport on Monday. The assessors will be Captain G. G. Smith, Superintendent of Mercantile Marine, Wellington, and Captain W. J. Orey, a retired mariner, of Wellington.
