UNION ROWING CLUB

On Monday evening a progressive euchre party was held in the Union Rawing (Jlxxb's boathiouee. The Hon. H. F. Wigram, M.L.C., presided over nn attendance of abont 160 members and lady friends. The trophies for the past season were presented to the succwefnl competitors. During tho evening; Mr Wigram preeented to tho club hw new president's cup. The Christchurch Banjo. Mandolin and Guitar Orchestra contributed some enjoyable and Mr Atkin gave sonio songs, the prooeedinga terminating with an enjoyable dance, for which Mr H. Liverinoro auppliod, the musio.
