Turner, who rod© in a novice race ait Greymonth after having previously won prizes, tlio following motion was carried- : —"That Turner be disqualified in respect to'the races at Greymouth on tho grounds that his ontry form did not disclose his previous six performances at tho time he sent in his entry to tho Groymoufch Club, and further on the (rroTi-nda that ho competed in tho novice race when ineligible, having previously won a prize." .Tho South Canterbury Centre wrote stating it had decided to appoint Mr J. H. Anderson as its representative on tho Council, in place of Mr J. Barker, resigned. The Belfast Cycling Club concluded n eorics of road races last week by holding a scratch race and a consolation handicap, each over a course of about four miles. Results:—Scratch Race—H. Galletly, 1; H. G. Cook. 2; M. Bryant, 3. Time, lOmin 32sec. Consolation Handicap—lt. Wilson, 2$ mm, 1; J. Hornby, lmin 50sec. 2; J. lmin oOsoc. 3. H. Galletly was tho winner of Philp's Clip, having pained the highest number of points during tho eeason.
