A si>epial sale was held at tlio Mtthvon yards on Thursday, when 13,000 sheep and lambs were yarded. There was a marked falling-off in the demand and several lilies ivore passed in. Among the salos were the, following:— soo crossbred ewes 10s 3d. A lino of merino wethers on. account Mt. White Station brought 4s lid; 239 two, four and six-tooth ew<?3 9s 2d; 152 store larnle 12s Id. For J. Hutchison (Methven) 120 two and four-tooth ewes brought 14e lid. Ft>r D. McLean (Mt. Hutt Station) 500 half bred ewes (six and right-tooth) brought 163 Bd, and 200 storo lambs Oβ 3d. '
