GRAIN SALE.
Tlio Xew Zealand Loan and Slereantile Agency Company, Ltd., lield. their second grain sale of'the season at 2.30 p.m. yesterday at their South belt and Durham street warehou«?s. Tho catalogue comprised in all about lo&O sacks of wheat, oats, potatoes, beans, chaff, etc., of which very few lots remained unsold, several Jines being taken privately after the sale. The attendance wns good, but bidding was scarcely so spirited as at the March sale, and prices realised for both wheat and oats were scarcely so good. The range of prices was (ox store sacks Td): —Seconds wheat 4s to 4s 3d, fowl Mheat 4s 2id to 4.s 3d, milling wheat 4s sd. Garton oats 2s 44d to 2s od, Dun oats 2s od to 2s 6d. Tartar oats 2s 6d, Canadian oats 2s ojd to 2s cd. Capo barley 3s sd, Derwent potatoes £4 (sacks in), Up-to-date potatoes £'3 17s Gd (eacks in)-
