LOKDON, April 24. At Mr Ooghlou'e instance the executive of tjue Congress on refrigeration, to sit at Paris, intend to propose a resolution for i'he modification or abolition of the Continental regulations hampering the introduction and sale oi frozen and chilled produce.
Thie confess, which is being promoted by the French Government, is to sit in Paris in July. Tho purpose of the congress is "to bring togetihor leading experts and representtatives of the principal industries > and enterprises of all countries in which refrjgerw, ation is used.as an agont for facilitate ing the .presernaition and transporto-' than of food materials by land or sea. Through such a conference of practical and eewntiiio men it is hoped to improve and perfect, and on certain lines to standardise, tho industries of cold storag/e and transportation by tlhe study and adoption of the most advanced methods and appliances which experience has tbus far developed, and thereby to extend the range and pro-> mote -the efficiency of refrigeration as a factor in international commerce."
