« - ' NEW REGULATIONS. A recent "Gazette" contains new regulations for.the inspection and ex- , amination of schools. Clause 5 and 6 provide that the headteaohor ebail draw up for each year schemes of work for all the classes in his school, and shall hold thereon not fewer than three periodical examinations of tho cKiisses, the la&tof which, called the "annual examination," shall bo Vi*»ld in November or December, and he shall keep for th-e information of the Inspector a record cv the nature and results of these examinations.
