PIGEON FLYING.

The Christchurch Homing Pigeon Society flow off its Juvenile Stakes Race from St. Andrew's on Saturday. Twenty-one owners .sent forty-nine birds to compete, only birds bred since last August being ©Usable to compete. The birds -were liberated at 12.15 pjn. Weather raining, which hindered the birds-from making good time. The winner was itr Muschamp's Miss Hamilton, which traversed -the disiance of 101 miles 1368 yards air-lino in 9hrs 44min 82sec.
