THE BLACKBALL STRIKE.
A PRACTICAL PROPOSAL

TIMARU, April 16,
Mr W. Pryor, organising secretary of the Now Zealand Employers', Federation., who is visiting Timaru to-day s stated that tho Federation had been urged to take a. test action ugainst the unions for aiding and abetting the Blackball strikers. The Federation could not institute proceedings, as only a party to the dispute could do th-is j but if the BlackbaH Company instituted such proceedings, the Federation was prepared to employ counsel and bear the expense. This offer lias been made to the company a reply is expected in> a day or two.
