A message to the "Standard" on October 18th, said:—A most painful sensation has been created hero by the discovery to-day of tho desecration of the grave of ex-President Kruger in Pretoria Cemetery. Tho white marble bust of the ex-President had been torn from its granite base, and was lying on its face a yard away from tho foot of tho grave. Tho tombstone of the grandchild of tho ex-President, which was in the same plot, was slightly damaged, a statuette of an angel which stood, at tho hood of tho grave having been knocked from its pedestal. The two adjoining graves were also disturbed.]
