AMUSEMENTS.

* ' " BREWSTER'S (MILLIONS." The theatre last night was filled to overflowing, when "Browstor's Millions" was repeated most successfully. Tho pieco went very brightly throughout. Tho yacht scene, particularly, was enthusiastically applauded, and tho curtain had to be raised twice on the effective rescue of the yacht. Tonight the p\ece will again bo played, and only three more performances, including to-night, can be given, as the company leave for Auckland on Tuesday.

OPERA HOUSE. Fullers Vaudeville Company were accorded a very large patronage at the Opera House last night, and the varied programme i was given with every success. To-night the progranimo will be repeated, and on Saturday there will be a complete change.

WESTS PICTURES. The plan of reserved seate for the season of- West's Pictures, commencing on Wednesday next, will open this morning at tho Dresden. The programme includes only new films, a very large variety of which have been.reoeived. They include a number of "picture* of scenery, humoroue subjects, ahdeome novel and interesting effects. The great charm of Mr West's pictures has been their remarkable steadiness, as well as clearness. Do Groen's ViceRegal Band will supply appropriate musio for the various which will add greatly to their attractiveness. It is intended to give Saturday matinees during the season.

MADAME AI2DA LOMAN Herr Berono Soherek 'has arranged for a series of four concerts by Madame Alida Loman and her company, to be given in the Choral Hall, commencing on the 17th inst. Madame Ixwnan brings with her a reputation as a soprano of considerable brilliancy, and her support is also said to be good.

WAINONI PARK. There was a good attendance of youngsters at Wainoni Park yesterday, tho attraction of a free merry-go-round ride proving irresistible. The fireworks ct night made a fine show, end the large audience were treated to a full programme of songs, gymnastics, and a Maori war scene. To-day there will be a Punch! and Judy show, races for boys and girle, and a guessing competition for ladies. Active preparations have commenced for the Wainoni gala, to be held next Thursday.
