Fowler, chairman of the United Stato3 House of Representatives Banking and Currency Committee, lias introduced a Bill providing J for the withdrawal of all outstanding National Bank currency secured on bonds, and authorising instead a currency based on tho general assets of enrh bank. Receivers have "been appointed for the Chicago and Great Western Railroad.
