APDINOTON LIVE STOCK MARKET. (BY OUR COMSIERCIAt EDITOtt.) There were fairly large entries of stock and a good attendance. Sheep were in good demand; prime fat lambs sold at late rates, and fat sheep were firm at the opening of the sale and rather easier at tho close. Beef was somewhat easier, and pigs were rather doll of sale. Store and dairy cattle were 6lack" in demand. STORE SHEEP. There was a fairly large entry ot store sheep, the bulk being lambs, and as buyers from the South were operating there was a good salo at tho following rates:-£4O lambs 12s 9d,'402 at 12s 6d, 52 at lis, 235 at 10s 9d. 88 at 10s, 178 at 9s lid, 298 at 9s lOd, 180 at 9s 9d, 136 two-tooths lis 9d, 126 wethers 14s od, 53 at 13s 3d, 89 aged ewes Ss sd, and 177 at 3s 9d. FAT LAMBS. The entry of fat lambs was a fairly large one, but tho quality was uneven,, the majority not being well finished. There was fair competition for export, and prime -larnW". soM : firmly up to lato rates, 'but. other descriptions* were easier. Tegs sold at 163..6 dto 18s, prime froe»ers-.145.6d to 16s, lighter 12s fid to 14s. and unfinished lis to 12s. The principal sales were:—For Canterbury Agricultural College, 70 at 15s 6d to ISs; R. Isbister (Fendalton). 20 at 14s Id to 17s 4d; O. SlcGough (Hatewell),----75 at 16s to 17s 3d; J. Parish (Woolston). 22 at 16s 8d to 17s- SS: E. Witfce (Tai Tapu), 16 at 16s 8d; G.
