DETAILED RESULTS.

Detailed results of tho roeent motor oar Reliability Trial to Dunodin, and back were presented in tabular form by Mr F. H. Chamberlain, one of tho judges, at the meeting of tho committee of tho Canterbury Automobile Association last night. <Mr Gfoaimborlain, ia preeemting tho report, apologised for tho absence of iho atiheir two judges, wiho hod returned to tlwir homes in the- North Island. The tabulated form issued by the judges, lie explain**!. v.-us for tho purposes of giving us much information as possible to tho different competitors. Tho judges, however, did not hold themselves rosponsiblo to give any reasons aa to why the various awards wero made v* tabulated. In reading tho tabulated form competitors should _ understand that tho system of marking did not altogether Ruido the judges in. the total marks given or in makinG thoir final decisions and awards, for all care vroro closely examined on arrival in Christchurch at tho conclusion of tho trial, and duo notes as to their condition wero made, by each judge. Tho tabular statement presented was a largo document containing all particulars relative to tho performances of all tho cars on each of the four days of tho trial, together with the figures worked ont in connection with tho petrol test which torik place on tho Micond day of the trial.
