The first production here of tho newcomedy, •Brewster's Millions," will take place at the TheatTe Royal toniorroTv evening, when Mr j. C. Williamson's Ctfmedy Company will make their appearance. The piece hes achieved a phenomenal success wherever it has been produced, and, in addition to being 6trong in comedy, is said to have a pretty love episode init. Tho production will serve to reintroduce to Ohristchnrch playgoers Mrs Robert Brough and Mr Thomas Kingston. The former of these has a charaoter—one of the Headers of NewYork society—in which she makes a. great- success. Aa Monty Brewster, XL- Kingston will be seen, in quite a different style of part to those in which he appeared during his former visit witfli Mies Tittell Brune. Ho is said to he very good indeed in his interpretation of the peculiar character of the millionaire. Messrs J. B. Athohrocd, Roland Stave-ley, and others of wellknown ability, will support the leading characters. The scenic and mechanical effects are on a scale not before attempted in Australasia. The yadht scene is one of the most realistao slag* pictures presented. Tho plan of t»« served seats for the season, which will extend over six nights, is now open at Milner and Thompson*.
