The contest was continued to-day in excellent weather and in tho presence of a large attendance. Auckland completed their second innings for 211, making an aggregate of 478. The visitors scored 81 and 82, making a very poor stand. The play wa6 acain slow. The visitors, with a couple of exceptions, took no risks. For the three days the gate takings were £195. AUCKLAND.
