He does not approve of Sir Matthew Nathan!* tour The Government hope the tour will be postponed until after martial law haa been repealed. The police, at night, raided a rebel hiding place and captured a dozen armed natives, who are believed to belong to a large gang. tA telegram received on January Ist stated that Sir Matthew Nathan, Governor of Natal, would shortly tour Zululand, and meet the principal chiefs.] DURBAN. January 4. A police patrol surprised a small party of rebel Zulus in some caves at the junction .of tho Black and White Umvoli rivers. Two of the rebels were killed, but the rest mado their escape, leaving their rifles and bandoliers. Sir Matthew Nathan has postponed his tour.
