CHRIST'S COLLEGE v. OTAGO BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL.
The annual match between Christ's College and Otago Bays' High School was concluded on the College ground yesterday morning, and resulted in an easy win for tho home teom by ten wickets. On t!he firet day Ot«eo had mide 1(38 in their lust innings, while the College had lost six wickets for 15)1, the two not outs being Jennings (49) and Norris (20). The former only added a single to his score, but Norris batted steadily, and with useful scores by the Rutherford brothers the total was taken to 351. Whan the visitors went in to bat a second time they were unable to do anything with the bowling of Rutherford 11., and nine wiokete were down for 59. Mitchell and A. P. Alloo, however, made a good sta.nd for the last wicket, and were successful in taking the total to 87, thus averting an innings defeat. Rutherford put up a very good bowling performance, taking nine wickete for 38. In this he was assisted by the safe catching of the College team, whose ground fielding wee also first-ctlaes.
