This afternoon he wae present at the opening of the Jeannie Fowlde Memorial Swimming Bath at PQint -Chevalier. On Fricjay he will leave for Rofcorua, accompanied by his family. ' The Ho». James McGowan has left for the Thames, and after spending the holiday season in the. goldfields district, he will return to Auckland. The Hon. J. A. Millar leaves on Saturday for Rotorua, where be will spon<J a week.
