Th'o book, entitled "The. Promise of the Star, ,, is expected in Nnv, Zealand shortly. There nro several changes in the .Magistracy pending. Mr Cruickshank U to go to Invercargill from Gore, and Mr Cuttcn, temporarily at Napier, will probably be transferred to Hamilton. Air Hutchit-on will probably take the Timaru district.
