— « (rRESS ASSOCIATION" TELEGR.UI). AUGKIiAND, December Iβ. Mr H. F .Seager, formerly officer in charge of tlie Auckland Telegraph Officr , . cikd suddenly yesterday, whilo bathing at Waiwera. Several men in the vicinity noticed Sir wSoag-ur's sudden collapse, and brought him Kshcre, but efforts to restore animation was unavailing. Death is supposed to have been duo to heart failure. Tho lato Mr Senger was 5-i years of ago, and was a son of 3!r 11. Seager, lato superintendent of the Mount View Mental Hospital, Wellington. Ho was appointed officer in charge at Auckland in 1900, and held a similar position at T>ui;*<lin a few months ago, but he had to leave through ill-health.
