"ROBBERY UNDER ARMS."
C\fr J. F. MncMahon hasaxi-ved from. Wellington to make arrangement* for tho opening of the "Robbery Under Arras" picture season, at the Theatre Royal on Saturday next., Tho pictures are a representation in illustrative form of Rolf Boldrewcod's celebrated novel, and nothing of such ti continuous or striking nature has, it is claimed, been previously attempted 111 Now Zealand. The story simply lives on tho films, and there is no posturing or grimacing, such as is often associated with the attempts to reproduce impossible incidents and historic scenes. ''The films," writes a North Island contemporary, "aro ethe dernier cri in cinematography. Nothing previously exhibited in New Zealand can compare with them. Not only are the pictures themselves intensely and mysteriously clever, but the colouring is superb, and superbly natural. Other features of the show are delightfully realistic. It is a show to see, and seeing, to remember with delight.'
