S.W., lierht; .barometer, 29.83; thermometer, 60; sky overcast. Kaikoura—Wind, S.W. breeso; barometer, 29.91; thermometer, 60; drizzling, eea smooth. Biuff—Wind, S.W.. fresh; barometer, 23.91; thermometer, 50; Eky overcast. Captain Edwin's forecast to 5 p.m. on 30th inst. is as follows:— Moderate southerly winds northward of Napier and New Plymouth, but strong to gale from the northward; generally from there southwards.
