Business has been particularly dull in the produce, market during the week, nnd transactions are unimportant. The good prices have induced a few farmers to quit the remnants of the past season's grain, but the transactions being of such a retail charao. ter prices have not been affected. Oats may bo quoted at 3s 3d to 3s Gd, wheat nominally 5s M. Potatoes have been almpet unsaleable, the market bemg demoralised, without a reliable price. Oateheaf chaff ia easier at £5 13s. and ont straw 355. Pens and beans have little enquiry, except for feedine purposes for the retail trade. Clovers aro not offering, this being the offseason.
