DUNEDIN, November 28. Mr Thomas Sneddon, the welWmown bowler, wlio visited Australia with the "All Whites," ia dead. Death, which was sudden, waa due to congestion of tho lungs, supervening upon au attack of influenza.
Mr Wm. Norrie, eesfetant wharfinger to tiho Timaru Harbour Board, eldest eon of Mr John Nome, of Kaiepori, died at Tiraani on tlio 21«t inst. Some time ago flio had the .misfortune to break a blood-vessel, although he appeared to recover, he had « reoutr«nce of tlho trouble, and ddod efter a brief illness. He leaves a wife and three eons and a daughiter. On the day of iiis death tho flags on vessels in Tumaru Hairbom- were hoisted at halfmast.
