KAIAPOI.

At the Court on Monday, Messrs R. Moore. J. P., and J. H. Blackwell (Mayor) renewed a prohibition order against a man in the Kaiapoi district for twelvo months. At a meeting of the Waimakariri Harbour Board on Friday evening, Mr Rolx>rts, consulting engineer for tlie dredge, was present. It was decided to terminate the present engagement of the dredge master. The Chairman undertook for a time to have the dredge seen to and kept working after an overhaul had been made.
